what you’ll need:
2-3 apples sliced
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp butter
Juice of ½ lemon
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp water
1 tsp cinnamon
flaky sea salt
whipped cream or cool whip
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Slice up 2–3 apples and toss them into an 8x8 baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, melted butter, lemon juice, cornstarch, water, and cinnamon until smooth. Pour the mix over the apples and give everything a good stir so they’re evenly coated.
Pop the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the apples are soft, golden, and the sauce has thickened.
Sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top (trust me, it makes the flavors pop!) and serve warm with a big dollop of whipped cream or cool whip.
