Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken

what you’ll need:

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs

  • 1/3 cup honey 

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce 

  • 2 tbsp ketchup 

  • 2 tbsp sriracha 

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar 

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic 

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch 

  • 3 tbsp butter 

  • Sesame seeds

  • Sliced green onions

  • Served with rice and broccoli

Instructions:

  1. To make the honey garlic sauce add to a large bowl the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, sriracha, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and cornstarch. Mix really well until the cornstarch is fully mixed in.

  2. To the bottom of the crockpot add the chicken thighs then top with the honey garlic sauce and the butter. Cover with the lid and cook on high for about 2/12 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.

  3. Once the chicken is cooked shred with a fork and give it all a good mix.

  4. Serve immediately with some rice and your choice of veggie! Top with some sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Enjoy!
